There are no restaurants in the Presidio. It is a 20-30 minute walk to the nearest restaurants; we strongly recommend that you purchase the gourmet lunch buffet provided by Acre Catering, which will include fresh organic produce and free range, hormone-free meats. Each day you will have a choice of several vegetarian and non-vegetarian sandwiches, salads, fruit and dessert. Lunch purchase will also include freshly brewed organic coffee, decaffeinated coffee, a selection of fine teas and an assortment of scones and breakfast breads before the morning sessions.
Also, in an effort to have a 'green' conference, we strongly urge you to bring refillable water containers and coffee mugs.

From the San Francisco Airport: Take Highway 380 west to Highway 280 north
towards San Francisco, follow signs to Golden Gate Bridge. Follow signs
for 19th Ave/Park Presidio. Continue through MacArthur tunnel and follow
signs for Downtown/Lombard St. exit. From Lombard St., turn right at Lyon
St. and turn right into the Presidio at Lombard Gate.
From Lombard Gate: Enter the Presidio at Lombard and Lyon Streets. Continue on Lombard, turn right at stop sign onto Presidio Blvd. Continue straight at stop sign where Presidio becomes Lincoln Blvd. Turn left on Montgomery. Park in the Presidio Main Post parking lot, and walk one short block west on Sheridan to Fisher Loop. A small chapel on the hill above the Golden Gate Club serves as a good landmark.
From Presidio Boulevard Gate: Enter the Presidio at Presidio and Pacific streets. Follow Presidio until it turns into Lincoln. Follow directions above.
From Arguello Gate: Enter Presidio at Arguello and West Pacific streets. Follow Arguello downhill to Moraga and turn left. Turn right on Infantry Terrace and then right onto Sheridan to park on the main parade ground parking lot.
By SF Muni take the 29 Sunset, or the 43 Masonic, to the Presidio. This will drop you to near the intersection of Lombard and Presidio Blvd. Pick up the walking directions below from there.
It is a little over a mile walk from various motels on and around Lombard Street in the Marina district to the Golden Gate Club. Enter the Presidio through the Lombard Gate. Turn right at the T onto Presidio Blvd. Turn left at the 4 way intersection to stay on Presidio. Bear right up a rise, cross Funston and make a left at the T onto Mesa. A building will be infant of you. Make the 1st right on Pena to go around the building and out access a parking lot. Bear slightly right to pick up Sheridan Ave. and then left up Fisher Loop. A small chapel on the hill above the Golden Gate Club serves as a good landmark.
