Elizabeth Thompson
Elizabeth Thompson is PlaNetwork co-founder and conference organizer. She has also been involved with a few of the projects presented at the conference: as a founding member of LinkTank http://www.linktank.org; as an advisor to the Venture Collective http://www.venturecollective.org; and as a member of the chaordic commons http://www.chaordic.org. Most of her time is spent working with the Buckminster Fuller Institute http://www.bfi.org helping to chart the course toward it's exciting future. Prior to starting Planetwork Elizabeth survived a prolonged immersive experience in conceptual art as the Director of John Gibson Gallery, New York, and as a founding member of the Obie Award-winning experimental theater company: Cucaracha Warehouse Theatre - as a performing artist and producer of their renowned Summer Performance Art series. She has been a frequent participant in the Art and Culture forums at the New York Open Center focused on Art and Ecology and is a current contributor to Guggenheim Public at the Peggy Guggenheim Collection, Venice, Italy, and WebLab's CrossOver dialogues http://www.weblab.org. |
