Richard Perl is one of the organizers and original board members of Social Venture Network. He is trained in law and business and, through Pacific Partners International Investments, Inc., has been involved in a number of for-profit and non-profit ventures in several industries.

Richard's current focus is the creation of a more just and sustainable economy. He is working with a number of initiatives which he believes will help serve as "functional infrastructure" for an alignment of economic exchanges among values-aligned individuals, businesses and non-profits, including ManyOne Networks, Dragonfly Media and The Interra Intercooperative Initiative.

Richard has represented Japanese investors in U.S. real estate development and resort projects, managed the businesses of Deepak Chopra, advised on for-profit initiatives of non-profit organizations and handled diverse negotiations and mediations. Richard lives in Manhattan with his wife, Susan, daughter, Auguste and son, Theodore.
